Dazzling colours

"Beauty isn't a special inserted sort of thing. It is just life, pure life, life nascent, running clear and strong" (HG Wells)
Inspiration is one of the nonmaterial benefits that people can obtain from the natural environment. The dazzling spring display in Kings Park definitely inspires many people (like me!) to grab their cameras and attempt to capture that beautiful but ephemeral moment.

Spring is here!

It's a fantastic way to sample Western Australia's unique flora on a more manageable scale... Kings Park captures the brilliance of blooms drawn from all over the state within a walkable distance. Spring is an absolute riot of colour.

Calling Pokemon Go players!

I’m a PhD student at UWA studying how people use and experience urban green spaces like parks. I’d be really interested to speak to some Pokemon Go enthusiasts who are out and about in parks in Perth as it would be great to get their point of view. I’m looking for individuals who would be willing to participate in a face-to-face interview. As my research is focusing on the City of Stirling, I’m looking for people who live in the City of Stirling and/or are looking for Pokemon in parks there! The interview should take around 15 minutes and is usually conducted outdoors in a park. If you're interested and would like more info, get in touch!
